At this Parel residence, the goal was not to replace lighting — but to elevate the experience of it.

The home already featured carefully chosen fixtures that complemented the interior design. However, the existing lighting system suffered from persistent maintenance issues caused by poorly executed DALI wiring by a previous contractor. The fixtures relied on outdated, oversized LED modules and operated in a single fixed mode, limiting ambience, comfort, and control.

The result was a beautiful space that could not be enjoyed to its full potential.

Our Approach

Rather than disturbing the aesthetic identity of the home, NISCO focused on intelligent retrofitting — upgrading performance while preserving design.

The original fittings were retained exactly as they were. Inside them, we engineered a modern lighting core:

  • Compact high-efficiency LED modules replaced bulky, outdated components
  • Custom holders ensured precision installation and improved heat management
  • Tunable white and dimmable smart LEDs introduced dynamic ambience control
  • Full mobile integration enabled effortless lighting control via smartphone

This approach allowed us to modernise the system invisibly — enhancing functionality without altering the visual language of the space.

The Transformation

The residence now enjoys lighting that adapts to mood, time of day, and activity. Warm evening tones, bright functional lighting, and soft ambient settings are available instantly with a tap on a screen.

Beyond aesthetics, the upgrade eliminated reliability concerns and future maintenance stress. The lighting system is now stable, efficient, and designed for long-term performance.

What was once a static, problematic setup has become a seamless smart lighting experience.
