Set within the quiet hills of Lonavala, Mr. Gangani’s private farmhouse required outdoor lighting that could provide safe roadway visibility while blending naturally into the landscape. The estate includes internal roads, landscaped gardens, and architectural walls that needed a unified lighting language.
The earlier lighting was uneven and visually disconnected — bright in some areas, dark in others — creating discomfort after sunset and diminishing the property’s elegance.
Our Approach
NISCO developed a layered outdoor lighting plan combining street lights, bollard lights, and wall-mounted fixtures to create balance and continuity.
Street lights were positioned along internal roads to deliver uniform illumination and safe navigation. In the gardens, bollard lights introduced soft pathway guidance without disturbing the natural ambience. Architectural wall lights added depth and texture, highlighting surfaces while preserving a calm nighttime character.
Each fixture was selected for durability, weather resistance, and consistent colour tone to ensure a cohesive visual experience across the entire estate.
The Transformation
The farmhouse now transitions beautifully from day to night. Roads feel secure, gardens glow gently, and walls gain architectural presence. The lighting enhances movement while respecting the serenity of the surroundings — creating an outdoor environment that feels curated rather than illuminated.
