Journey of Innovation and Growth
The story of Nisco Lights began in the vision of Palghar Industries Bombay, founded by Late Mr. Mohsin Junagadhwala. From humble beginnings in Mumbai’s industrial landscape, Mohsin revolutionized the decoiling industry, being the first in the city to build a decoiling machine single-handedly.
With a spirit of innovation, he later took charge of one of India’s only outdoor lighting factories, alongside his son, Abizer. What started with a modest 1800 sq. ft. unit soon grew into a larger facility, paving the way for expansion into streetlights and outdoor lights.
By 2018, seeing the potential of LED technology, Nisco Lights was born – a brand dedicated to designing and manufacturing premium, energy-efficient LED lighting solutions. With continued growth, including the establishment of the Vasai unit in 2016 to meet rising demand, Nisco Lights became synonymous with trust and quality. Today, it stands tall as a symbol of Indian innovation, carrying forward the legacy of its founder.

Mohsin Junagadhwala
Late Mr. Mohsin Junagadhwala was a visionary entrepreneur, a self-taught innovator, and the driving force behind the legacy of Nisco Lights. At just 14, he came to Mumbai from Junagadh, filled with determination to build a better life. With no formal training, he began his journey as a service manager at a decoiling plant in Darukhana and went on to become the first person in Mumbai to single-handedly build a decoiling machine. Mohsin’s entrepreneurial journey spanned trading, manufacturing, and eventually lighting – where he made his mark by setting up one of India’s pioneering outdoor lighting factories. Known for his integrity, innovation, and strong relationships, his goodwill continues to fuel the success of Nisco Lights today.
Abizer Junagadhwala
Mr. Abizer Junagadhwala, son of Late Mr. Mohsin Junagadhwala, is the torchbearer of Nisco Lights. With a Master’s in Commerce and an MBA, Abizer combines business acumen with deep industry expertise. Since joining the business, he has immersed himself in the world of lighting, learning hands-on about technology, manufacturing, and innovation. As a lighting expert, Abizer has been instrumental in expanding Nisco Lights’ product range to over 150 premium LED products. Under his leadership, the brand continues to grow as a trusted name in quality lighting, setting benchmarks in innovation and design while staying true to the values instilled by his father.
